Philippines top global source of child pornography – Unicef

       Our problem is Child pornography. Now a days Child pornography is already known for us here in the Philippines, because of the high percentage of poverty here in the Philippines some parents use their child to have money, by just taking a picture or recording their child while their child are naked and sell it to the pornography sites or other people. Our main advocacy is to stop those things. Those Child doesn't have sin why they experienced poverty. We prefer instead of doing those obscene things, why do they have to find a legal work and  legal ways and earn money with clean way.

 

       Many child pornographers start with an interest in soft-core adult pornography, but over time turn to harder, more deviant porn and this leads the way to child pornography and molestation,” said Hawkins. The campaign also highlights the modern parent’s struggle against a more imminent threat, as children today stumble upon obscene material on the Internet at an alarming rate.

 

​       Children are precious, but they are also the most vulnerable! Having said that, I would like to talk about the issue at hand in some detail given that child pornography is a highly unspoken and neglected subject. Pornography has existed for centuries. There has been a debate about whether pornography is socially or morally acceptable but as it involves adults, there is no law that is broken. But when children are involved in sexual exploitation, pornography is explicitly regarded to be a heinous crime in multiple nations.

 

    Pornography is the depiction of sexual acts to arouse the audience, but child pornography propagates visual imagery of underage persons being exploited in ‘explicit sexual activity’ (actual, graphic or simulated sexual intercourse, including anal and oral; bestiality; masturbation; sadistic or masochistic abuse; or lewd exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of the minor). Another word for child pornography is, “child sexual abuse imagery”. Child sexual abuse images and videos are documented with the purpose of being shared for others to watch and in such way victimise the child in over and over again.
